STL158 Onyx Stone Lamp
This stone lamp is created from one whole piece of Mexican Onyx (a type of banded calcite). It shows an interesting mix of patterns interrupting each other, with banding, striped inclusions, and crystalline sections all intersecting. There is a mix of translucent calcite in pale cream to dark honey, and opaque sections of white or warm brown. The top edge is left naturally rough at an asymmetrical angle, and the base has a small carved divot that allows the cord to come out and the lamp to sit flat.
